Graduates Holding Diplomas

A good certification shows you have mastered a specific skill. It helps give you a bit of credibility for that skill in the eyes of a potential employer. I think about 95% of the certifications out there are completely useless, but below are some of the few I think are actually worth getting.

Tableau Data Analyst Certification

Tableau is always in demand for data analysts. This certification is my number one recommendation because Tableau is so widely used and a certification you'll actually see requested in job descriptions.

Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification

Big fan of Azure and Power BI and this certification hits both. Microsoft is known for their reliable certifications so this is a great one to start with.

AWS Data Analyst Certification

Everyone knows AWS. AWS is one of the most widely used cloud platforms on the planet. It only makes sense to let other know you really know what you're doing.

Runner-Ups

Google Data Analytics Professional Certification

I love this one for beginners. It shows you know the basics and are committed to learning. It's more of an all around certification so it doesn't show expertise in any one area.

IBM Data Analyst Professional Certification

This is along the same lines of the Google Certification. Great for beginners and displays overall knowledge. This certification focuses on Python which is a bonus.
